Gracious God, we give you thanks for the birth of your son Jesus Christ. Be with us and those we love at this special time of year. Allow us to experience the hope, peace, joy and love of the Christmas season. We give thanks that you come to us as a child, innocent and full of promise. We give thanks that your promise to us is life eternal at your side. Be with us as we celebrate with family unwrapping presents by the tree. Be with us as we travel, grant us safe journeys. Allow us to be ever mindful of your great love and grace for us. In Jesus name. Amen.
