Gracious God,
I come before you as a humble servant,
I come before you in need of hope.
I confess that there are times when I feel helpless,
When the weight of the world seems to crush me.
I confess that there are times when I feel week,
When temptation seems to tempting and I give in.
In hope I pray for you,
I pray for the future I know you have prepared for me.
I crave your love and compassion.
Free me from my hopelessness,
Engage in me a spirit of renewal,
A thirst for all things holy.
Break the chains of self doubt that confine me.
Allow me to live in your grace and peace.
