There are many different ways that we can pray to God. The most common way we pray is through words. We give voice to our joys and concerns and share them with our creator. We can also pray through our actions. When we do the work of the kingdom it is a prayer to God, our way of communicating that we have heard and understand the message we receive in Jesus Christ. Doing the work of the kingdom is also a response to our own prayers to God.
Another way that we can offer pray to God is through music. During the season of Advent as we approach Christmas we have heard Christmas songs on the radio and as we shop in the mall. Music is a powerful way that we express our love for God. Throughout scripture we find music being used to offer thanks to God.
