Children’s Story – February 20, 2022

In our passage from Luke today Jesus describes something we refer to as the Golden Rule. Namely, do unto others as you would have them do to you. He uses a lot of different examples to make his point like turning the other cheek and giving someone the shirt off your back.

The message Jesus is sharing with us is to love other people. Even if it is hard to love them.

Parents read the passage from Luke with your kids and have a discussion with them about what it means to love people and how we can share that love in a safe way.

Scripture: Luke 6: 27-38
